API is protected by private access tokens, the admin panel is reactive thanks to its Laravel + Livewire framework. Whereas an Android app is built around material design principles and consists of simpler, less code to understand and repeat.
Ranking algorithm
The algorithm is pretty smart. It keeps track of the videos users have watched and shows the unviewed videos first. Even after that, to prevent recurrence, it randomizes when the user has viewed everything without being watched. In both scenarios, it is preferable to show clips from verified users first.
